James Reid umamin: I always wanted to come back to acting, but…

MARAMING na-discover ang Kapamilya actor-singer at record producer na si James Reid nang pansamantala siyang mag-rest sa akting.

Ilang taon ding nagpahinga si James sa paggawa ng teleserye at pelikula para mag-concentrate sa kanyang music at record label.

At ngayon nga ay nagbabalik-akting na nga si James at muling bibida sa upcoming Kapamilya series na “Someone, Someday” kung saan for the first time ay makakatambal niya si Kathryn Bernardo.

Ayon sa binata, sa matagal na panahong namahinga siya sa pag-arte ay marami siyang na-rediscover about himself creatively.

“I always wanted to come back to acting, to TV, to film, but I needed to take a break for a while. 

“I started so young so and I just wanted to just discover more, especially with music,” saad ni James sa panayam ng “SceneZone.”

“I am really grateful I had that time to just breathe, and be creative, and try new things,” aniya pa.

Pagpapatuloy pa niya, “When it came to acting, I think I just felt it was the right time. It was really not about the fame or the projects or anything.

“It was really just about me doing my best, and it felt like the right time to come back and try again,” dugtong pa ni James.

Patungkol naman sa naging experience niya sa “Someone, Someday” na magsisilbing comeback niya sa acting, “I think I am kind of just picking up where I left off. 

“So I see myself as a student always, not just in acting but in life. I have so much things to learn in acting. 

“I am picking up so many things from Kathryn, I am picking up so much things from the directors, direk Chard (Vidanes) and direk Dolly (Dulu). 

“For me, it is a very organic learning process too. It took a while for me to warm up to it again, but it feels like I never left,” lahad ng binata.

Gaganap ang aktor sa “Someone, Someday” bilang si Jordan na inilarawan niya as the ultimate best friend sa kuwento.

“He’s always there for you, always got your back. I’m lucky to have someone like that in my life, so I can super relate to this character,” sabi pa niya.

Ang isa pa raw sa bonggang aspect ng serye para sa kanya ay, “Throughout the show, I actually get to inject a lot of my own music, which I’m very excited for. I’m also writing one of the songs for the show.”
