QCGH pasok sa Top Hospitals ng Pinas –Newsweek

KINILALA bilang isa sa mga top hospitals sa Pilipinas ang Quezon City General Hospital (QCGH)!

Ito ay ayon mismo sa Newsweek, ang kilalang weekly news magazine sa New York City.

Bumandera ito sa 24th nationwide at standout bilang tanging Level III LGU hospital na may 10 fully accredited departments at may fellowship training program, kabilang sa Top 33 hospitals sa bansa.

Ayon sa ranking na isinagawa kasama ang global data company na Statista, sinuri ang 2,500 hospitals sa 32 na bansa.

Tiningnan ang rekomendasyon mula sa mga medical experts tulad ng mga doktor, hospital managers, at healthcare professionals, kasama na ang kalidad ng serbisyo, patient experience data, at Statista's Patient-Reported Outcome Measures Implementation Survey.

Itinatag noong 1968, ang tertiary hospital sa Barangay Bahay Toro ay may kapasidad na 250 beds at matagal nang nagbibigay ng modern healthcare services.

Sa kasalukuyan, may 10 fully accredited training programs ang QCGH sa Internal Medicine, Surgery, Obstetrics-Gynecology, Pediatrics, Family Medicine, Anesthesiology, Pathology, Radiology, Otolaryngology, at Ophthalmology.

Bukod pa rito, QCGH ang unang LGU-run hospital sa bansa na may Fellowship Training Program sa Geriatric Medicine, para sa espesyal na pangangalaga ng mga senior citizens.

Pioneering din ang hospital sa North Metro Manila sa fellowship training sa ultrasound at CT-MRI sa pamamagitan ng Radiology Department.

Noong nakaraang taon, kinilala ang QCGH ng National Institutes of Health ng UP Manila para sa excellence sa newborn screening services.

Sa 2025, nakuha rin nila ang unang unqualified opinion mula sa Commission on Audit, patunay sa maayos na financial management at ethical governance.

Dagdag pa, ang Human Milk Bank at Quezon City Protection Center ng QCGH ay kinilala ng Philippine Commission on Women bilang Gender and Development Local Learning Hubs dahil sa inobasyon sa pagpapaunlad ng women's rights at pagtanggal ng gender discrimination.

Para mas lalo pang mapabuti ang serbisyo, pinapalawak ng Quezon City government ang pasilidad at nire-renovate ang lumang QCGH building para mas mahusay na matugunan ang pangangailangan ng mga pasyente.
