PBBM ‘very angry’ sa laman ng sulat ng Grade 6 student tungkol sa rape

SINAGOT ni Pangulong Bongbong Marcos ang liham sa kanya ng isang Grade 6 student na si Amaureen Delis Santos mula sa Coloco Elementary School.

Ito ay patungkol sa kanyang kapatid na umano'y inabuso.

Kuwento ni Maureen sa naturang liham para kay Pangulong Bongbong, nag-walkout siya sa ginanap na graduation ceremony upang mag-submit ng petition sa Sangguniang Panlungsod laban sa kagawad ng kanilang barangay.

"One of my sisters, Ivy Bernacer Elpa, loves to read, but on her way home from school on November 17, 2022, and on February 14, 2023, she was rape twice by a son of a Kagawad in our town," saad ni Maureen.

Pagpapatuloy niya, "Ivy got pregnant from the first rape, and the Kagawad kidnapped her, sent her to Monalban, and had the baby aborted and murdered. Then the tauhan they sent with Ivy raped her again, and she now no longer goes to school."

Kuwento pa ni Maureen kay Pangulong Bongbong, may isa pa umanong anak ang kagawad na tinutukoy niya na nanamantala sa isang babae noong 2018.

"Mr. President, how will we read if we are being raped? How will we read if our own government people cut our electrical wires so we have no lights?

"How will we read if our kagawad cuts our balon wires, so we have no water?" tanong ni Maureen kay Pangulong Bongbong.

"We are kids, we are not involved in your political parties. I just want to go to school without being raped. So, can you please help us?" dugtong pa niya.

Nakarating naman kay Pangulong Bongbong ang naturang liham at sinigurong magpapaabot siya ng tulong para kina Maureen.

"My dear Maureen, Your letter has reached me and brought me close to tears and made me very angry.

"I am sending policemen to you and your sisters to protect you and to find anyone who has hurt any of you. I will make sure that you will be able to continue reading and studying as much as you want," paniniyak ni Pangulong Bongbong.
