PUMANAW na ang ama ng magkapatid na Anne Curtis at Jasmine Curtis-Smith na si James Ernest Curtis-Smith.
Ibinahagi ni Anne sa kanyang Instagram account ngayong araw, January 7, ang malungkot na balita kalakip ang black and white photo ng kanyang yumaong tatay.
Mensane ng Kapamilya TV host-actress, "It is with profound sadness that we announce the unexpected yet peaceful passing of our father, James E. Curtis-Smith.
"A true patriarch in every sense, he shaped us with strength, resilience, and a wit that will forever echo in our family. He was deeply loved, endlessly admired, and will live on in our hearts always.
"We will miss him dearly. – The Curtis-Smith Family."
Walang binanggit sina Anne at Jasmine na iba pang detalye tungkol sa pagkamatay ng kanilang ama, at hindi rin sila nagbigay ng impormasyon kung ano ang dahilan ng pagkamatay nito.
Sina Anne at Jasmine ay anak ni James sa Filipinang si Carmencita Ojales.
Bumuhos naman ang mga mensahe ng pakikiramay mula sa mga kaibigan at tagasuporta ng magkapatid na aktres, kabilang na ang ilang celebrities.
