PNP, Customs 2 luxury car lang natagpuan sa building ni Sarah Discaya, anyare?

SA bisa ng search warrant, pinasok ng pinagsanib na pwersa ng Bureau of Customs (BOC) at Philippine National Police (PNP), ang isa sa mga pag-aaring building ng pamilya ni Sarah Discaya.

Sinuyod ng mga operatiba ng PNP at BoC ang bisinidad ng St. Gerrard Construction General Contractor and Development Corp. sa Brgy. Bambang, Pasig City ngayong araw, September 2.

Ito'y matapos aminin ni Discaya sa naganap na Senate Blue Ribbon Committee hearing kahapon, September 1 na aabot sa 28 luxury cars ang kanilang pag-aari na milyun-milyon ang halaga bawat isa.

Sa panayam sa radio ni BOC Chief of Staff Atty. Jek Casipit, dalawang beses  nilang sinubukang maghain ng search warrant kagabi, pero hindi umano sila binigyan ng pahintulot na makapasok. 

Pero ngayong araw nga ay hindi na sila hinarang ng staff ng St. Gerrard Construction at malayang naikot ang lugar. Ngunit  matapos ang isinagawang operasyon, dalawang luxury cars lamang ang nakita ng BOC at PNP.

"May nakita kaming dalawang units right now. 'Yung Land Cruiser at Maserati. 'Yung iba, hindi namin nahanap. Wala kaming nakita rito," ang pahayag ni Casipit sa naturang interview.

Saad pa ng opisyal, wala raw sa kanilang record ang 12 luxury cars na binanggit ni Discaya sa hearing kaya ito ang kanilang iniimbestigahan.

"Base po sa records ng Bureau of Customs ito po 'yung wala po kaming nakuhang verification ng import entry. So, meron po kaming probable cause na baka hindi nabayaran nang tama ang mga import duties and taxes," sabi pa ng opisyal.
