Carla Abellana ipinalibing natagpuang Aspin na biktima ng hit-and-run

HINDI napigilan ng Kapuso actress na si Carla Abella ang mapaiyak habang nagkukuwento tungkol sa Aspin (asong Pinoy) na natagpuan niyang patay sa Quezon City Circle. 

Ayon kay Carla, mukhang biktima ng hit-and-run ang naturang aso na posibleng 24 oras nang patay dahil nagsisimula nang ma-decompose ang ilang bahagi ng katawan nito.

Ibinahagi ng aktres, na kilala rin bilang animal welfare advocate, ang isang video sa social media platform na Thread kung saan ikinuwento nga niya ang masaklap na sinapit ng Aspin. 

"Unfortunately, the hit-and-run victim is deceased. I could tell because it was already by the gutter," pahayag ng Kapuso star.

"It seems that somebody hit the aspin and managed or was still kind enough to move the aspin's body to the gutter by the sidewalk," dagdag ng aktres.  

Kasunod nito, inuwi nga ni Carla ang namatay na aso, sa tulong ng kanyang driver, at inilibing sa isang bakanteng lote na malapit sa kanyang bahay.

"I'm giving him or her a proper burial because it's the least thing I could do. Wala man nakapag-rescue sa kanya, at least give him the burial he deserves," saad ni Carla.

Pagpapatuloy niya, "I'm sad whenever I see strays that are skin and bones, suffering, sick, hungry, scared, abandoned, neglected and even victims of hit-and-run every time I'm on the road."

Panawagan naman niya sa publiko, "I try my best, and hopefully more of you, also try your best to help, rescue, save, feed, adopt even.

"Try your best to not just report. Try your best to actually do something about it by actually going down, stopping, taking the time to put them aside, to feed them, give them food, give them water. 

"Hindi 'yung picture lang or video lang tapos report o di kaya post lang or ask for rescuer or shelter's help.

"You are someone, you can do something. Don't take pictures and videos and post ask for help. You be the one to help because you can," paalala pa ni Carla sa publiko.
