NAGBABALIK entablado ang isa sa pinaka-iconic na banda ng late ‘90s hanggang early 2000s!

Sila’y walang iba kundi ang Barbie’s Cradle para sa isang bigating comeback concert ngayong August 2026.

At hindi lang ‘yan, may bagong music din silang ilalabas!

Ang multi-awarded band na binubuo nina lead vocalist at guitarist Barbie Almalbis, drummer Wendell Garcia, bassist Rommel dela Cruz, at guitarist Kakoy Legaspi ay muling magsasama-sama para sa isang espesyal na gabi ng musika.

At ayon sa kanila, hindi lang nostalgia ang hatid nila kundi pati bagong tunog at bagong kwento bilang mga musikero.

“We’re excited to revisit the greatest hits and misses while also sharing new songs that reflect where we are now in our lives both as musicians and human beings,” sey ni Barbie Almalbis.

Wika pa niya sa isang pahayag, “We’ve reached a point where we approach music-making with greater confidence and purpose. This new body of work is more collaborative and intentional than ever. We’ve poured months of hard work into these songs, and we can’t wait for everyone to hear what we’ve created.”

Kilala ang Barbie’s Cradle sa kanilang award-winning albums tulad ng “Barbie’s Cradle,” “Music from the Buffet Table,” at “Playing in the Fields.” 

Sa paglipas ng panahon, nanatili silang isa sa pinaka maimpluwensyang banda sa local music scene, lalo na sa woman-fronted bands at singer-songwriters.

Hindi rin matatawaran ang kanilang mga parangal mula sa NU Rock Awards, Awit Awards, at KATHA Awards.

Ang pinakaaabangang concert na pinamagatang “Barbie Almalbis: One Night Only” ay hatid ng GNN, isang Manila-based concert at events promoter.

Ayon kay Milley Habito, isa sa mga nasa likod ng production, hindi lang ito simpleng reunion kundi isang cultural moment para sa OPM fans.

“It’s an honor to work with Barbie’s Cradle for this special project,” sambit ni Habito. 

Kwento pa niya, “We first teased the iteration of the show during Barbie Almalbis’ 25th anniversary show three years ago, but this time, we’re taking the concert experience to an entirely new level. Staged in a theater setting, the concert is built around a meticulously crafted concept and theme, with elevated production values designed to create a memorable experience for fans and new listeners alike.”

Gaganapin ang concert sa August 1 sa Music Museum at ang tickets ay nagkakahalaga mula P1,300 hanggang P2,900.
