Sheryl Cruz suportado pagpasok ng anak sa showbiz: It’s in her blood!

PINAYAGAN na ng actress-singer na si Sheryl Cruz na mag-showbiz ang kanyang anak na si Ashley Nicole o Nicole Sonora bilang kanyang screen name.

Sabay na nag-guest ang mag-ina sa "Fast Talk With Boy Abunda" nitong Miyerkules, March 26, kung saan ibinahagi nga ni Nicole kung bakit  nagdesisyon na rin siyang sumabak sa aktingan.

Ayon sa anak ni Sheryl, na nag-graduate bilang summa cum laude mula sa San Francisco State University noong 2023, hilig na talaga niya ang mag-perform mula pa noong bata siya.

"Honestly, acting, story and creation, since preschool po I've always always wanted to be an actor," kuwento ng 24-anyos na si Nicole.

In-encourage raw siya ng isang college professor na pagbutihin pa ang kanyang talent sa akting dahil  nakitaan siya nito ng potensiyal.

"I didn't think it would be my career path at first, not until towards the end of college, when a professor told me, 'You have potential. You should try to enhance it," aniya.

"So since then, parang namulat ako na ah parang kaya pala 'to. Kasi that person who is saying it is somebody na sa America pa 'to.

"So they don't know, wala silang paki sa family ko kasi walang bias so parang 'Ah okay. If you see something in me, then maybe I can trust in myself more,'" saad pa niya.

Sabi naman ni Sheryl, "At first, like any other parent, showbiz is very hard. But I cannot take that away from her because it's in her blood," sabi ni Sheryl.

"I know she will have something to fall back on because tapos naman na siya ng kaniyang pag-aaral.

"But of course hindi ko pwede sa kanyang ipagkait itong passion to pursue what is in her blood which is acting, and the love of singing and creation because she's also a talented writer," pahayag pa ni Sheryl.

Ito naman ang message niya sa anak, "I wish you well in your showbiz endeavors and please don't lose your moral compass.

"I want her to have the time of her life here in show business. For whatever happens, if it's a roller coaster ride of emotions, then I just want her to enjoy the ride and know herself better than anyone else," aniya pa.

Mapapanood naman uli si Sheryl sa Kapuso afternoon series na "Born To Shine," na pinagbibidahan nina Zephanie at Michael Sager.
