DTI Sec. Cristina Roque: Presyo ng pagkain, hindi magtataas hanggang April 16

BINIGYANG linaw ni Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Sec. Cristina Roque na walang magaganap na taas-presyo sa mga pangunahing bilihin dahil may sapat pang suplay ng pagkain sa bansa.

Sa naging panayam niya sa media nitong Martes, March 31, sinabi niyang walang magtataas ng presyo basic necessities at prime commodities hanggang April 16.

"No price increasing po for basic necessities and prime commodities at least for until April 16," saad ni DTI Sec. Roque.

Dagdag pa niya, "The manufacturer assures [us] that we have enough supply."

Ayon pa sa DTI secretary, may pinuntahan silang kumpanya ng pagkain ni Pangulong Bongbong Marcos para masiguti na maraming suplay ang bansa.

"In fact, last week pumunta kami ng Presidente actually sa Century just to show everyone na marami po tayong suplay ng pagkain. So wala tayong problema," sey ni Roque. 

Sinisigurado rin ni Department of Agriculture (DA) Sec. Francisco Tiu Laurel, Jr., na may sapat na suplay ang bansa. 

Dagdag pa ng DTI secretary, "Even the Department of Agriculture secretary also informs the public na we have a supply of food.

"Yes, stable po ang prices in regard to the basic necessities and prime commodities na 'yong listahan po ay kontrolado po ng DTI 'yong mga prices. No price increased din po for all the basic necessities and prime commodities. But it is within the list of the DTI. No price increased."
