Solenn Heussaff cool nanay, ‘madakdak’ pero hindi namamalo ng anak
NGAYONG kuwarentahin (40) na ang Kapuso star na si Solenn Heussaff, mas naa-appreciate na niya ang simple joy and happiness.
Nababalanse na nang maayos ng "Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre" star ang kanyang pagiging artista, entrepreneur, wifey at mommy.
Sa interview ng "Fast Talk with Boy Abunda", inamin ni Solenn na nagbago na rin ang ilang pananaw niya sa buhay lalo na pagdating sa isyu ng "midlife".
"Dati when I saw my parents in midlife, parang para sa akin, tingin ko dinosaurs na sila but now that ako na 40 na, I just feel like I'm just starting, almost," sey ng aktres at celebrity mom.
At ngayong tumuntong na siya sa edad na 40, "It's so much fun because I get to do things I want to do and I also have my savings and I have my family, so parang I'm just discovering so many new things."
Naikuwento rin niya na mas natutunan na niyang pahalagahan ang lahat ng kinikita niya, lalo na ngayong lumalaki na rin ang kanilang pamilya ni Nico Bolzico.
"Hindi naman ako gastusero. Hindi talaga. I only spend when I travel na maybe twice a year. Two big travels. And aside from that, wala akong indulgence, as in zero.
"I mean, gusto ko sa home…sofa, pillows, pero syempre I can't change that every week. It's very simple and I think that's why you find joy talaga in simple things," aniya.
Malaki raw ang naging pagbabago sa kanya ng pagiging ina, "Getting to enjoy simple things in life kasi syempre when you're growing up, when in your 20s or 30s, you're always trying to reach a certain goal, trying to do certain things, that you forget about simple things in life that makes you happy.
"But when you see your child for the first time, you just need simple things. I'm really happy now with the kids," chika pa ni Solenn.
Tungkol naman sa parenting, inilarawan niya ang sarili bilang cool mom kina Thylane at Maëlys, "I'm chill and I'm not very strict kasi si Nico naman mas strict.
"When I became a mom, all my feelings became more intensified. So sometimes, you don't understand what is happening inside kasi it's just an explosion of feelings lang talaga," sey pa niya.
"I'm the type that talks a lot. We are more aware sa feelings and how it can affect mental health and everything. I'm definitely more outspoken to my children," sabi pa ni Solenn.
Hindi rin daw siya naniniwala sa pamamalo sa mga anak, "I don't think I'll be ever to do that but we give them a time out. We tell them to go to their room and reflect and come down when they're ready."
