Nic Chien kay Lea: I thank my lucky stars that you ended up being my mom

FEELING blessed and lucky ang singer at stage actor na si Nic Chien sa pagkakaroon ng inang tulad ni Lea Salonga.

Sa gitna ng natatanggap na batikos ng "StarStruck" original Avenger na si Alvin Aragon dahil sa panghuhusga sa LGBTQIA+ community, pinupuri naman ngayon si Lea at ang iba pang celebrities na tanggap ang kanilang mga bading at lesbian na anak. 

Sa 55th birthday ni Lea, nag-post si Nic sa social media ng kanyang mensahe para sa ina at nagpasalamat sa unconditional love na ibinibigay sa kanya mula noon hanggang ngayon.

Makikita sa kanyang post ang mga litrato nila ni Lea kasama na ang baby photo niya habang karga ng ina.

Ibinahagi rin ni Nic ang pictures nila ni Lea na kuha sa kanyang graduation at ang mga litrato ng pag-transition bilang isang transman na buong-buong sinuportahan ng ina.

"I honestly don't think I could've asked for a better momma in the world; and I thank my lucky stars that you ended up being my mom whenever I can. Happy happy birthday momma, I love you," aniya pa.

Bumuhos din ang pagbati kay Lea mula sa IG followers ni Nic. Narito ang ilan sa comments ng netizens.

"You're so blessed to have each other. Happy birthday to your momma, Nic!"

"Happiest Birthday, Ms. Lea!!!!  What a heartfelt message/birthday post, Nic!"  

Si Nic ay nag-iisang anak ni Lea sa dati niyang asawa na si Robert Chien.  Sa edad na 14, nag-come siya bilang transman.

"She didn't want my life to be as hard as it would be. This was the most ideal situation for me… It was rough," ani Nic sa isang panayam.

Sey naman ni Lea, "Every child that comes into this world is different. You have to meet your kid where they are."

Paglalarawan pa niya kay Nic, "Homework needs to get done… I'm glad that this kid can cook and do his own laundry and doesn't forget to feed the cat! 

"But really, the one thing that I've learned is that you have to raise your child the way your child needs to be raised," ani Lea.
