SENYALES kaya na makakapasa sa Bar exam ang aktor na si si Atty. Nico Antonio dahil dalawang project niya na sabay niyang sinu-shoot ay abogado ang role niya?
Ginampanan niya ang karakter na Atty. Rafael 'Paeng' Sandoval sa seryeng "Sins of the Father" bilang abogado ng mga scam victims.
Sa pelikulang "Unmarry" ay gumanap si Atty. Nico bilang si Atty. Willie na assistant ni Atty. Jackie Lombridas played by Eugene Domingo.
Kuwento ng production staff ng "Unmarry" kapag walang eksena si atty Nico ay nagre-review ito para sa upcoming bar exam niya noong Setyembre 7, 10 at 14.
At pagkalipas nang mahigit tatlong buwan ay inilabas na ang resulta ng Philippine Bar Examinations at kasama si atty Nico sa 48.98% na pumasa, pang 375 siya.

Balikan natin ang naging kuwentuhan namin ng mama niyang si Atty Joji V. Alonso na tinanong namin kung bakit hindi nag-bar exam pa si Nico noon gayung tapos na pala ito ng abogasya at sayang naman.
Sabi ni atty Joji na hindi na nagkaroon ng panahong mag-review ang panganay niya dahil nag-showbiz na at totoo naman dahil kaliwa't kanan noon ang projects niya sa Dreamscape Entertainment na halos karamihan ng serye ay kasama siya hanggang sa nakagawa na rin siya ng pelikula at nagkasunud-sunod na rin bukod pa sa napasama rin sa Korean series na Big Bet noong 2022 at Confidence Queen, 2025.
Pagkalipas nang ilang taon ay naging topic ulit namin ni atty Joji si Nico at tinanong namin kung may plano pang kumuha ng bar exam at nabanggit sa amin na kinailangan uling mag-refresh ng anak dahil matagal na itong graduate at maraming pagbabago sa batas at iba pa.
Hanggang sa muling nag review ulit si Nico bilang paghahanda sa bar exam na isang dekada ang lumipas bago niya ito binalikan.
At kaninang tanghali, pagkalabas ng resulta ng bar exam at isa si Atty Nico sa pumasa ay ramdam namin ang kaligayahang nadarama ng mama niyang si atty Joji dahil finally, ang panganay niyang anak ay kahilera na nilang mag-iina dahil ang dalawa niyang anak ay parehong abogado na sina atty. Paeng at Angela, stepmom ni Zac Sibug.
Pinost ni atty. Joji ang larawan nilang mag-iina na apat na silang abogado sa pamilya at ang caption niya.
"I must admit that I didn't think this day would come. While Nico graduated from law school in 2014, he never took the bar because he was working on one tv or movie project to the next. Until he was just too busy with work that it wasn't the priority anymore as he had a family to provide for.
"About 3 years ago, he asked for my blessing to take the bar. I could see the fire in him to overcome one last battle. He enrolled in review classes while working on a soap and film projects simultaneously. In fact, the days following the first two days of the bar exams, he had to shoot for UnMarry because we needed to finish the film in time for the deadline," kuwento ng Quantum producer.
