Nadine Lustre, Tutol sa Tulay na Itatayo sa Siargao Island
Sa isang instagram post ay ibinahagi ni Nadine Lustre ang kanyang pagtutol sa proyektong pinaplano ng Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) sa Secret Beach sa Malinao. Ayon kay nadine, makakasirå umano ng kalikasan ang gagawin ng DPWH sa naturang isla. Hinihikayat ni nadine ang mga residente sa isla na hadlangan ang pagpapagawa ng tulay sa kanilang isla.
"Secret Beach is definitely one of the most peaceful spots in the island. It makes me so sad to know that people are planning to build a bridge that will totally destroy the area. It will also destroy the mangroves, sea grass… disrupting the natural habitat of other species living in this protected area," ani Nadine.
"The island hasn't completely recovered from Typhoon Odette… I wish this was more prioritized that anything else."
"Malinao is already beautiful as it is. Secret Beach should be preserved. Please come tomorrow and say NO," dagdag niya pa.
