Kitty kay ex-Pres. Duterte sa Father’s Day: ‘The best papa, even better patriot!’

“Papa rody, you are the best papa—but an even better patriot!”

Ito ang nagging pagpupugay ni Veronica “Kitty” Duterte ngayong Father’s Day para sa kanyang amang si dating Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte na kasalukuyang nasa kustodiya ng International Criminal Court (ICC).

Sa Instagram, ibinandera ni Kitty ang isang throwback photo kung saan makikitang masaya at very close sa ama.

Kasabay nito ang isang mahabang mensaheng puno ng pagmamahal, paghanga, at pananabik.

“Happy father’s day, papa/dada rody. as much as we talk, the kind of man you are never lets me run out of things to say,” bungad niya.

Pagbubunyag pa niya: “I talk to you 4 times a week, i see you every other month, but i feel you in every wave of silence and every strike of the crowd.”

Sinabi rin ni Kitty na higit sa mga titulo, parangal, at mga naiambag ng dating pangulo sa bansa, ang pinakamahalagang iniwan nito sa kanilang pamilya ay ang paraan ng pagpapalaki sa kanila.

“The whole time it was upbringing, the mere thing that makes us special. I know for certain we may not be as wealthy, as decent, as polished as the others, but what cannot be denied is the dominance of your character, that i can honestly attest, we all took after,” sey ni Kitty sa post.

Pinuri rin ng dating presidential daughter ang ama bilang isang lingkod-bayan na tunay raw na nakatuon sa serbisyo: “Out of all these proud public servants, who cry righteousness in their suits and treat politics as a stage, you always knew it was meant for service.”

Aminado rin si Kitty na minsan ay nagseselos siya kapag tinatawag ng iba na “tatay” ang kanyang ama.

Gayunman, napagtanto niyang napakalawak ng naging papel nito sa buhay ng maraming Pilipino.

“Papa rody, you are the best papa—but an even better patriot, tatay digong,” mensahe niya.

“I hold my head so high knowing I have your fire, and I place my feet so grounded knowing I come from you. que sera, sera. I’ll see you when I see you, papa,” pagtatapos niya sa mensahe.
