Sara Duterte nakahanda sa mga bagong impeachment complaints: No surprise

HINDI na nagulat ang kampo ni Vice President Sara Duterte sa mga bagong impeachment case na inihain laban sa kanya nitong Lunes, February 2.

Ayon sa pahayag ng abogado ng bise presidente na si Atty. Michael Poa, handa naman ang kanilang kampo na harapin ang mga ito.

"The filing of new impeachment complaints against the Vice President [Sara Duterte] comes as no surprise," saad ni Poa.

Pagpapatuloy pa niya, "We are prepared to confront these allegations squarely through the proper constitutional processes, confident that a fair and impartial review will demonstrate that the accusations are devoid of both factual and legal basis."

Matatandaang pinangunahan ng Makabayan bloc ang paghahain ng unang impeachment case laban kay VP Sara matapos ang one year-ban.

Ang ikalawang impeachemment complaint naman ay inihain ng civil society organization kasama sina Akbayan Party-list Rep. Perci Cendaña at Mamamayang Liberal (ML) Partylist Rep. Leila de Lima.

"It's about time na panagutin na si VP Sara," sey ni De Lima.

Sa ngayon ay parehas na nahaharap sa impeachment complaints sina VP Sara pati na rin si Pangulong Bongbong Marcos.
