PH MLBB champions kinilala ng Senado, hirit ni Bong Go: ‘Inspirasyon sa kabataan!’

ISANG malaking karangalan ang natanggap ng Pinoy esports athletes ng Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB) na kamakailan lang ay nagwagi sa 33rd Southeast Asian (SEA) Games at M7 World Championship!

Kinilala sila ng Senado sa isang espesyal na courtesy call, patunay na unti-unti nang tinatanggap ng bansa ang esports bilang lehitimong sports.

Sa pamamagitan ng Senate Resolution No. 34 at 35, pormal na kinilala ng Senado ang Aurora Gaming PH para sa kanilang kampeon sa M7 World Championship sa Jakarta, pati na rin ang MLBB SIBOL Men at Women teams at ang kabuuang delegasyon ng Pilipinas sa SEA Games dahil sa kanilang "impressive medal haul."

Ayon sa Senado, ang tagumpay sa esports ay hindi basta-basta, lalo na't kailangan nito ng matinding preparasyon, teamwork, strategic discipline, at mental conditioning katulad ng tradisyonal na high-performance sports.

Sey ni Sen. Bong Go, Chairperson ng Senate Committee on Sports: "Marami na po sa kabataan ngayon ang naglalaro ng MLBB. Isang paraan iyon para ilayo natin sila sa masasamang bisyo. Ang ilan sa kanila ay naging matagumpay hindi lang sa bansa kundi sa international esports scene."

"Bilang chairperson ng committee on youth, ikinatutuwa ko po ito, sapagkat nagbibigay ito ng bagong oportunidad sa ating kabataan, hanggang sa pagbubukas ng career pathways sa esports, content creation, at digital entrepreneurship," patuloy niya.

Aniya pa, "Nagbibigay inspirasyon ito sa kabataan na linangin ang kanilang talento, at gamitin ang teknolohiya sa makabuluhang paraan."

Sa Pilipinas, unti-unti nang kinikilala ang mga esports athletes kasabay ng mga traditional sports champions, na nagpapatibay sa status ng esports bilang high-performance competitive discipline.

Ang MLBB ay isa sa pinakasikat at globally-recognized esports titles sa bansa, at hindi lang reflex ang kailangan dito…kailangan din ang matalinong strategy at teamwork!

Isa sa pinaka-inspirational na kwento ay si Rodel "Ar Sy" Cruz, mula street vendor hanggang head coach ng Team Liquid.

Sa ilalim ng kanyang pamumuno, nanalo ang team ng MLBB title sa Esports World Cup, gold sa 33rd SEA Games, at dalawang MPL Philippines seasons noong nakaraang taon.
