Marco Gumabao balik-Vivamax, certified action star na sa ‘Pasakalye’
BACK to VMX o Vivamax ang aktor na si Marco Gumabao sa pamamagitan ng kauna-unahan niyang action movie, ang “Pasakalye.”
After three years, muling magbibida sa pelikula si Marco kasama sina Andrew Muhlach, Denise Esteban at Jeric Raval. Ang “Pasakalye” ay mula sa direksiyon ni Roman Perez Jr. at mapapanood nga sa VMX.
Inalala ng hunk actor na ang original series nila nina Kylie Verzosa at Xian Lim na “Parang Tayo Pero Hindi” ang nagbuwena mano sa Vivamax noong January, 2021.
Ipinalabas ito sa nasabing streaming platform sa kasagsagan ng COVID-19 pandemic.
“Nakakatuwa at exciting na nandito po uli tayo sa VMX. Actually, first-ever show ng Vivamax before, kami rin po ni Kylie, kasama po namin si Xian Lim.
“Buwena mano yung series po natin na yon. Sa Pangasinan po kami nag-shoot,” kuwento ni Marco sa presscon ng “Pasakalye” last May 6.
“Siyempre nakakatuwa na now, I’m back here in VMX and we’re creating different genres of movies or series.
“So nakakatuwa na, at least, very diverse yung platform po natin ng VMX, na talagang we can also cater to a lot of different genres na puwedeng panoorin ng lahat ng tao,” chika pa ng aktor.
Pero agad namang nilinaw ng binata na kahit mapapanood sa VMX ang “Pasakalye, all-out action ang pelikula na may kaunting pakiliti na mga eksena.
“It’s very different kasi first time po talaga na gumawa ako ng pelikula na full action. This is a full action-packed movie.
“Yes, nasa VMX kami pero don’t worry…sadly (natawa), wala kaming mga sexy scene! Sadly, sadly. Ha-hahaha!” sey pa ng aktor.
“Pasakalye” explores a street-level drug syndicate operating under the legit front of a talyer that doubles as a sanctuary for the city’s outcasts.
Under the iron rule of the paternal figure, two brothers find themselves on a collision course that threatens to blow up everything – their ties as well as their ambitions.
The tension reaches a breaking point as the father figure’s health fails, forcing his daughter to
return and claim her place as the new successor.
While she publicly vows to legitimize the family business, her ascent triggers a silent but violent power struggle. One brother, disciplined and loyal, supports the transition; the other sees it as a threat.
As defiance turns into a dangerous game of shifting alliances, the family becomes embroiled in a war where loyalty is the ultimate casualty.
