Misis ni Bong Suntay kumampi, nag-sorry kay Anne Curtis: ‘I stand with you!’

NAG-SORRY kay Anne Curtis si Sheila Guevara, ang asawa ni Quezon City Rep. Bong Suntay, matapos umani ng matinding batikos ang huli dahil sa kontrobersiyang pahayag.

Magugunitang marami ang nainis at nagalit sa kongresista matapos magkomento sa Kamara tungkol sa impeachment complaints laban kay Vice President Sara Duterte.

Sa naturang hearing, ginamit ng mambabatas ang pangalan ng aktres bilang halimbawa na may sekswal na pahiwatig habang ipinapaliwanag ang kanyang punto sa usaping legal.

Sa kanyang pahayag, ibinahagi pa ni Suntay ang umano'y "desire" niya na nag-init siya matapos makita ang aktres sa isang mall.

Matapos kumalat sa social media at umani ng batikos mula sa netizens at ilang personalidad, naglabas na ng pahayag si Sheila sa kanyang Instagram upang linawin ang kanyang panig.

Ayon sa kanya, hindi siya at ang kanilang mga anak sang-ayon sa sinabi ng kongresista.

"I want to be unequivocally clear: My children & I do not agree with, and we do not condone, the analogy made by Bong," giit niya sa post.

Nilinaw din niyang hindi totoo ang kumakalat na balitang natawa siya at tila nag-agree sa sinabi ng kanyang asawa.

"The news circulating, that I laughed and therefore approved of what was said is false, and I will not allow that narrative to stand unchallenged," sey niya pa.

Direkta ring nagpaabot ng mensahe si Sheila kay Anne at sa pamilya nito.

"To Anne Curtis and her family – I am deeply sorry. No woman should ever be spoken about that way, and I understand if words alone feel insufficient. Please know that my heart goes out to you, and I stand with you," wika niya sa aktres.

Dagdag pa niya, nararapat igalang ang bawat babae anuman ang estado o pinagmulan nito sa buhay.

"Every woman – regardless of who she is, whose wife or daughter she may be, or whatever her background – deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. That is a value | hold deeply and will never compromise on," sambit niya.

Sa parehong post, nakiusap din si Sheila sa publiko na huwag idamay ang kanilang mga anak sa isyu.

"I also make this appeal with all sincerity: please leave me and my children out of this. We are not public figures. My children are children. No mother should have to watch her children be targeted and harassed for something they had no part in. I humbly ask the public and the media to respect that boundary. Thank you," aniya pa.
