Kris Aquino tumigil ang paghinga; kapit na kapit sa kanta ng Beatles
TUMIGIL ang paghinga ng Queen of All Media na Kris Aquino habang sumasailaim sa isang minor procedure kahapon, January 14, 2026.
Dalawang minuto raw itong nangyari sa gitna ng isinasagawa sa kanyang Peripherally Inserted Central Catheter (PICC) Line insertion.
Sa kanyang Instagram account, ikinuwento ng TV host-actress ang nangyari kunh saan isang thin tube ang ipinasok sa isa niyang vein para magkaroon ng access sa "larger veins near her heart."
Ayon sa isang health website, ginagamit daw ito para mas madaling maglagay ng "medicines or liquid nutrition" sa pasyente.
"THANK YOU for continuing to pray for me to get better, for having FAITH that God will make all things possible.
"I haven't fully processed what happened, it was supposed to be a minor PICC LINE procedure BUT there was a span of time totaling almost 2 minutes when my lung stopped functioning—I stopped breathing," ang pahayag ng aktres sa kanyang post.
Pagpapatuloy niya, "I credit my anesthesiologist, my 2 surgeons, and as soon as I awakened—the reassuring face of my rheumatologist whose concern & love I felt."
Habang nasa recovery room, na-realize raw ni Kris pati na ng bunsong anak na si Bimby, na utang na loob niya sa mga taong patuloy na nagdarasal ang kanyang buhay.
Ginamit pa niya sa kanyang caption ang ilang lyrics mula sa kanta ng The Beattles na "Let it be."
"In my post-op recovery room, it was future pediatrician/neurologist/or anesthesiologist Bimb's kiss that made me realize we owe all of you my life—utang namin na buhay pa rin ako, the Holy Spirit guided my doctors and everyone in the OR… as the song lyrics say:

Matatandaang noong Lunes, January 12, pa sana ang medical procedure ni Kris pero hindi nga natuloy dahil biglang tumaas ang kanyang blood pressure.
"This surgery was delayed from yesterday to very soon because my BP was sky high the whole of Sunday—the culprit, my migraine.
"Thank you to my pain management doctor Henry Lu and his entire team for finding the right formula although Sunday night and yesterday I was given a pharmacy."
Natuloy ang procedure nitong January 13, "Entering the pre-OP area. Kuya was shaking and automatically grabbed Bimb's hand.
"I did something right in making sure Bimb grew up knowing he'll be responsible for his Kuya. And kuya feels secure with Bimb. Going in. #family," mensahe pa ni Kris.
