Aniya, “Sharing this with respect and clarity.
“Bilang isang babae at ina, I deeply value what my body has gone through—pregnancy, childbirth, and raising my children. Those are experiences that are real, physical, and deeply personal.
“I respect that everyone has their own identity and journey. However, using the term ‘biological woman’ in a way that isn’t medically accurate feels misplaced to me.
“There is a clear difference between identity and biology, and I believe both deserve to be understood properly.”
“Respect should always go both ways. I can honor your truth, and I hope the same respect is given to the realities that define womanhood for many of us.”
“We can coexist with mutual understanding—without diminishing each other,” pahayag pa niya.
Comment ng isa pa, “A gay man (assigned male at birth) can transition to become a woman, but they cannot become a biological woman. Medical technology allows for transitioning (hormones/surgeries) to align physical appearance with gender identity, but this does not change original biological markers like chromosomes (XY) or the ability to produce eggs.”
“True inclusion starts with respect. Purchasing sanitary pads might feel like a milestone for your journey, but for biological women, these aren’t aesthetic choices—they are part of a cycle that involves physical pain and reproductive health. You can embrace your womanhood without claiming a biological reality that isn’t yours to take. Let’s keep the ‘biological’ labels for the science, and the ‘euphoria’ for your personal growth,” hirit ng isa pa.
