Ruru, Bianca bagong ambassadors ng Filipino Martial Arts: ‘I-preserve natin!’

CERTIFIED couple goals ang real life couple na sina Ruru Madrid at Bianca Umalis matapos maging opisyal na ambassadors ng Filipino Martial Arts (FMA) for film and TV!

Kamakailan lang, rumampa at rumatsada sa aksyon ang dalawa sa Katipunan ng mga Bagani event, kung saan nagsama-sama ang iba't ibang practitioners ng FMA.

Dito rin pormal na iginawad kina Ruru at Bianca ang kanilang bagong titulo.

Sa eksklusibong panayam ng Chika Minute, ibinahagi ng dalawa ang kanilang pinagdaanang training.

Ayon kay Ruru, nagsimula siya sa basics gamit ang mga armas bago sumabak sa mas matinding laban.

"I started with, 'yun nga, mga baston, arnis, but eventually ngayon, kahit empty hands, meaning kahit wala kang weapons, pwede na rin. So somehow, para siyang dirty boxing," kwento ni Ruru.

"We wanted to learn a new skill, but then as we were going through the process, naging parte na kami ng pamilya ng FMA, how much we've learned and grown as individuals during the study of the system, mas naging purpose-driven na siya ngayon," sey ni Bianca.

Matatandaang pinabilib niya ang fans sa kanyang Arnis performance sa "Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre," at ngayon, level-up pa ang kanyang skills lalo na sa knife-handling!

Regular ding nag-eensayo ang dalawa sa Laraw Kali Pamuok, isang disiplina na itinatag ni Lakan Ronnie Royce Base at siyang nagsisilbing pundasyon ng kanilang mga astig na stunt at fight scenes sa kanilang mga proyekto.
